Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She is best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She's the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the first moments in her childhood, like watching and participating in rehearsals of plays. Silk featured in a number of commercials while she was young. She received a Bachelor's of Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was able to move out of Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. She met her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop located in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got married in December of 2009 following a civil ceremony. The couple renewed their vows on April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk was converted to Judaism. Silk got a baby that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th, 2013. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk is well-known for her role on television as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she received nominations from her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. The role was assigned to her of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk announced to the fans the joyous announcement that she became pregnant on the set of season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive to promote Season Three. This was shown by Showcase at an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the show's premiere. Silk was doing work on the show since the third season finale episode premiered on January 6, 2013 on Twitter, announced that she would return to the show on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named them as the most popular TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its prominence on social media has gained a significant online fan base.
