Sutton Foster, an actor as well as a singer and dancer, has appeared in eleven Broadway shows and the most recent revival of Violet. She also originated roles in Broadway in The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. Her Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Young Frankenstein. Star Search, at the age of 15 was her first time that she made an appearance on television. Since then, she has appeared on Bunheads and Psych. Sutton Foster has toured the United States and internationally in a duo with Michael Rafter. She performed songs from "Wish", her first solo CD as well her second album, "An evening With Sutton Foster Live at the Caf Carlyle". Ball State University conferred her with an honorary doctorate in 2011. Alongside being an instructor and advisor within the Department of Theatre and Dance and Dance, she also received this degree by Ball State University. The actress has been on the show TVLand's "Younger" which was created by Darren Star, since March 2015.
